John 14:15-‬18 NKJV
“If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

This world cannot help but continue to be blind and do the things that are against God. Because of this I cannot receive the spirit of Truth it can only keep using half-truths and lies. Because these lies contain a little truth in them people get caught up in it because people love Gossip. It doesn't have to be true in order for them to take it and in fact I'm sure in your own personal experiences you have witnessed somebody who no matter how many times you tell the truth they won't accept it until there's a little bit of a lie in it. Often people find the truth to be boring. In order for a story to make it on the news it has to be overdramatize and exaggerated so they can keep getting better ratings. Those ratings are what determine what ads people watch and those ads pay the station on the platform based on view count.
Because the lies are so prevalent in our day-to-day lives you can see why God's truth is so offensive telling the truth is boring and offensive. Now, we have a complete culture devoted to fact-checking and shutting down servers that don't contain the lies that the world continues to want to spin, to shutdown and suppress truth.
How far are you willing to go for the Truth to be in you and ignore the lies of the world?
